Seven years ago, on a lively April evening, Festina Lente, a traditional brown bar in Amsterdam, became the backdrop for an unexpected twist of fate. There we met amidst the vibrant buzz of the city.
Since then, we've traveled the world, lived in three countries, and welcomed Flossie, our beloved rescue dog from Portugal, into our lives. Now based in Barcelona, we're excited to take the next step in our journey together.
Join us as we celebrate our union, surrounded by friends, family, and the love that has brought us all together.
From the first time we visited we fell in love with the magical Abgunste Manor. We can't wait to welcome you all there.
The location is private and secluded. There are no public transportation options. You can get there by renting a car from the airport. It's about an hour drive from Riga airport.
A shuttle bus will be arranged on request for those who are not planning on coming by car.

The ceremony will be officiated by our dear friend Djim. Witnesses will be Laura her best friends Cristina and Karim. And Leon and Midas on Jonas his side.
After the ceremony the evening will be hosted by Janis. A comedian and experienced wedding host, fluent in both Latvian and English.
Best time to buy plane tickets?
The sooner the better because tickets will probably only get more expensive as the summer is approaching. If you see a good deal go for it.
Should I extend my stay?
Latvia is a beautiful country and if you have time we would definitely recommend exploring the baltic states.

What is the dress code?
Summer cocktail. This dress code is a stylish yet relaxed attire that combines elegance with comfort, suitable for warm-weather gatherings.
Can I bring a +1?
Because of limited sleeping space and no nearby hotels only the people we invite are welcome. You can ask us personally for a (rare) exception.
Where will we be sleeping?
The manor operates as a hotel. It can host up to 90 people. The room arrangement will be shared with everyone on their arrival. We will do our best to make everyone feel comfortable.
Food and drinks
All food and drinks will be included. The chef will make sure to take all dietary restrictions into account. There will be plenty of alcohol and non alcoholic options to choose from.
What can I gift?
Having you with us on our wedding day means the world to us – it's the best gift we could ask for. But if you're thinking of giving something more, we're planning a honeymoon adventure outside Europe. We'd be really grateful for any contribution to our travel fund.
